Rtn. K. Vaithianathan, born on 26 May 1963, is a member of the Rotary Club of Pondicherry Pride. A native of Puducherry, he is a Commerce graduate and entered business at an early age.
He is married to Rtn. Dr. Vanaja Vaithianathan, a Rotarian. They are blessed with a daughter, Dr. Amirtha, and a granddaughter.
He joined Rotary in 2014–15 through the Rotary Club of Pondicherry Central. He has served Rotary in various leadership roles including Secretary, President, and Assistant Governor. He was unanimously elected as District Governor, RI District 2981, for the Rotary Year 2026–27.
Rtn. Vaithianathan is a Third Level Major Donor and an Endowment Donor, having contributed USD 80,567 to The Rotary Foundation.
